Sometimes you or your developer need details like your server name, IP address or cPanel username. Here's where to find them.
In the Client Area
- Log in to https://secure.aisweb.com.au
- Click Services, then My Services
- Click your hosting service
You'll see your domain, plan, next due date and status. Your server name, IP address and cPanel username are shown on this page too, and in your hosting welcome email.
In cPanel
Log in to cPanel (see How to Log In to cPanel) and look at the General Information panel on the right. It shows:
- Current User: your cPanel username
- Primary Domain
- Shared IP Address: your website's IP address
- Home Directory: for example /home/username
Click Server Information at the bottom of that panel for more, such as the server name and versions of PHP and MySQL.
Finding Your Welcome Email Again
- In the Client Area, click Hello, [your name]! at the top right
- Click Email History
- Look for the email titled New Account Information or similar, and click View Message
Never share your cPanel password in an email or chat. If a developer needs access, see How to Give a Developer Safe Access to Your Website.
