How to Sync Calendars and Contacts Print

  • 0

Your AISweb email account includes a calendar and address book. You can use them in webmail and sync them to your phone and computer.

Using Them in Webmail

Log in to webmail and click Calendar or Contacts in Roundcube.

Getting the Sync Settings

  1. Log in to cPanel (see How to Log In to cPanel)
  2. In the Email section, click Calendars and Contacts
  3. Choose the email account

You'll see the server address, port and username to use, plus direct links to each calendar and address book.

iPhone and iPad

  1. Go to Settings > Apps > Calendar > Calendar Accounts > Add Account > Other
  2. Tap Add CalDAV Account
  3. Enter the server from cPanel, your full email address and your email password
  4. Tap Next, then Save

For contacts, do the same under Settings > Apps > Contacts, choosing Add CardDAV Account.

Mac

  1. Open System Settings > Internet Accounts > Add Account > Add Other Account
  2. Choose CalDAV account (or CardDAV account for contacts)
  3. Set Account Type to Manual, and enter your email address, password and the server from cPanel
  4. Click Sign In

Android

Android doesn't sync CalDAV on its own. Install a free or low-cost app such as DAVx5, then add an account using your email address, password and the server URL from cPanel.

Outlook and Thunderbird

  • Thunderbird: supports CalDAV and CardDAV directly. Add a Network calendar and paste the calendar link from cPanel
  • Outlook: doesn't support CalDAV without an add-on. If you need shared calendars in Outlook, ask us about Microsoft 365
